Responsibilities and Requirements
- Must have a Trade certificate and Grade 12 qualification; an additional qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in field service or site-based management, preferably in mining or heavy equipment
- Manage and lead day-to-day field service operations across client sites
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites
- English proficiency, Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Schedule and allocate technicians and resources to site jobs
- Control job costing, scope compliance and labour allocation
- Lead performance management and skills development within the field team
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and quality workmanship
- Conduct site inspections and manage breakdown and maintenance response times
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth plans
