Responsibilities & Requirements

• Good Fitting and Turning Skills
• Trade Qualification a recognised trade certificate as a Fitter and Turner.
• 2 years relevant Post Qualification experience
• Machining and Fabrication using lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines to shape metal components with high precision.
• Fitting and Assembling, aligning, and installing machinery components, including repairing or replacing worn parts.
• Technical drawing interpretation reading, interpreting, and working from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Precision measurement using instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure accuracy.
• Maintenance performing routine, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on workshop equipment.
• Workshop activities executing tasks such as general welding, screw cutting, drilling, and taping of holes.
